Invasys is an R&D company specializing in providing governments with security technology aimed at preventing terrorism, insurgency, and organized crime. We produce mission critical hardware and software used in the most demanding environments and focus on extensive in-house research & development in the area of mobile phone and satellite communication. Our solutions are made solely by us in the Czech Republic.
The Position in Context
Invasys has a project-oriented structure allowing maximal flexibility and customization for our clients. Our projects are realized by dedicated engineering teams, supported by our Science Department. We currently focus on shortening the time from research to product.
In this position you will be among the senior people in the Development Department and you have the ability to draw on team member expert skills and help utilise the collective competence of the team to solve tasks.
Role & Responsibility:
You will strengthen our front-end team and help us develop and evolve our products. One of your first tasks will be decomposition of existing front/back-end services into more generic architecture with structured API definition.
- Lead small team of front-end developers, coordinate and review their work
- Transform our high-level requirements and preliminary architecture definition into technical requirements and interface specifications
- Design complex solutions that complies with overall project / product architecture
- Decide on code structure and used technologies
Qualifications & Requirements
To excel in this role, you should meet the following qualifications and requirements:
- Good knowledge of web development technologies (Node.js, React, Typescript, Webpack, SASS/LESS)
- 5+ years of work experience as full-stack developer and web app architect
- Experience leading teams
- Experience containerization technologies (Docker)
- Due to the nature of our work in the defence and security sector, candidates must be citizens of an EU / NATO country.

- Familiar with GitLab development workflow and CI/CD
- Technical writing skills
